Using the app or registering in it constitutes explicit and final acceptance of this agreement.
First: Definitions
- The Platform: Njik app, Njik Technician app, and any current or future digital app or platform owned or operated by Njik for Babak Trading Co., Unified No. 7037580771.
- Service Provider / Technician: A natural or legal person registered on the Platform to provide maintenance or repair services as an independent contractor.
- Customer: The user requesting services through the Platform.
- Service: The technical work performed by the Service Provider for the Customer through the Platform.
- Agreement: This document titled Privacy Policy and Warranty Policy in its entirety.
Second: Platform Operations and Party Responsibilities
- Platform Nature: Njik is an electronic platform acting as a technical intermediary connecting Customers with Service Providers for home maintenance services. The Customer selects the required service, and the Platform recommends the nearest or most suitable Service Provider based on internal operational criteria.
- Information Sharing: The Customer agrees to share some of their data with the Service Provider to the extent necessary to perform the service, including location, mobile number, and type of service requested.
- Additional Work: If additional work is required after commencement, it must be agreed upon in advance and recorded in the app after cost agreement. Any undocumented work will not be recognized.
- Service Provider Suspension: If a Service Provider is suspended for any reason, the Customer is obligated to pay for work actually completed and the cost of spare parts provided, with no liability on the Platform.
- Off-Platform Communication: The Platform disclaims responsibility for any communication or agreement between the Customer and Service Provider outside Platform channels or after service completion.
- Order Cancellation and Service Use: If an order is cancelled and the service is later used, the Customer must contact the Platform within 24 hours to update the order status. Failure to do so releases the Platform from responsibility, and the Customer forfeits warranty and support rights.
- Disputes: The Customer bears full responsibility for any dealings with the Service Provider. The Platform disclaims responsibility for any disputes, and parties must approach official competent authorities.
Third: Invoices and Payment
- The Customer must approve the order details and invoice issued after completion and pay via available payment methods within the app.
- The Customer may reject an invoice if the amount does not match the previously agreed price.
- VAT (15%) applies to labor costs only and is mandatory for the end consumer.
- Failure to pay the full amount entitles the Platform to suspend the account and take regulatory action.
Fourth: Complaint Submission Process

Complaints are submitted via:
- Approved in-app channels
- Opening a complaint ticket from previous orders and explaining the details

When a complaint is filed during the warranty period for the first time:
- The original Service Provider is primarily responsible for resolution
- Another Service Provider cannot be requested
- If another is requested, the Customer bears the full cost and it is treated as a new order

If resolution by the original Service Provider is not possible:
- The Platform provides an alternative Service Provider at its own responsibility
- Work is limited to the scope of the original work
- Any additional work is at the Customer's expense
Section One: Privacy Policy and Personal Data Protection
1. Regulatory Compliance
The Platform is committed to protecting and processing personal data in accordance with applicable laws in Saudi Arabia, particularly the Personal Data Protection Law and its executive regulations.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all personal data collected or processed when using:
- Njik app
- Njik Technician app
- Any current or future digital app or service owned or operated by the Company

a) Identity Data
- Full name
- ID number
- Mobile number
- Email address (if available)
b) Professional and Operational Data
- Specialty and experience
- City and approximate location
- Required regulatory documents
c) Financial Data
- Bank account details
- Payment, transfer, and commission details
d) Technical Data
- Device type and operating system
- IP address
- Device ID
- Login and usage logs
- Approximate geolocation data
e) Transaction Data
- Orders and services
- Complaints and disputes
- Ratings
- In-platform correspondence
4. Legal Basis for Processing
Data is processed based on:
- Explicit consent from the data subject
- Performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party
- Compliance with a regulatory obligation
- Legitimate interest of the Platform without harming data subject rights
5. Data Use Purposes
- Account creation and management
- Identity and eligibility verification
- Operating services and connecting providers with customers
- Payment processing
- Service quality and user experience improvement
- Communication and notifications
- Complaint and dispute management
- Regulatory compliance
6. Data Sharing
The Platform does not sell or rent personal data. It may be shared to the minimum extent with:
- Customers to execute the service
- Payment and transfer service providers
- Official authorities upon regulatory request
- Technical partners under written confidentiality agreements
7. Cross-border Data Transfer
Personal data is not transferred outside Saudi Arabia except in accordance with approved regulatory controls and with an equivalent level of protection.
8. Data Protection
The Platform takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data and is not responsible for breaches resulting from causes outside its direct control.
9. Data Retention
Data is retained for the duration of the contractual relationship or as required by law, then securely deleted or anonymized after the purpose is fulfilled.
10. Data Subject Rights
The data subject has the right to:
- Access their data
- Correct or update data
- Withdraw consent (without prejudice to regulatory obligations)
- Object to or restrict processing where permitted
- Request account closure
11. Amendments
The Platform may amend this policy at any time. Continued use constitutes explicit acceptance of amendments.
Section Two: Warranty Policy
First: Warranty Period
Njik is committed to warranting completed work for thirty (30) days from the service completion date.
Second: Warranty Scope

The warranty covers:
- Inspection and diagnostic costs
- Device transport for maintenance when needed
- Completed and paid via electronic payment methods available in the app, or
- Transferred to the company account through the app only
- The warranty covers labor only and does not cover spare parts provided by the Service Provider.
- The warranty period is not renewable if the Service Provider returns to fix the issue during the warranty period.
- The original Service Provider is responsible for resolving any issue during the warranty period; the Customer cannot request another Service Provider for the same issue.
- The Customer cannot request a refund before ten (10) business days from the complaint date on the same order, unless a Customer-requested delay increased the waiting period.
Third: Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not apply in the following cases:
- Cancelled orders more than 24 hours after cancellation
- Any modification to the electrical circuit or physical structure of the device by a third party
- Site conditions incompatible with recommended operating conditions
- Misuse, tampering, or negligence
- Accidents or natural disasters including fires, rain, lightning, voltage fluctuations, improper ventilation, or other causes beyond the Service Provider's control
Fourth: Relationship Between Privacy and Warranty
The warranty policy is an independent operational policy and does not affect the privacy and personal data protection provisions. No clause therein shall be interpreted as relating to data processing.
